So we got a house!

This was probably the biggest roller coaster Chris and I experienced in terms of taking a leap on what we felt we wanted, what we actually wanted, and what others wanted for us.

Chris and I have been highly indecisive in regards to where we wanted to permanently reside.  We loved the area we called home, but we were also tired of apartment living: all the rules, restrictions, and cold surrounding was cold and impersonal.

Now we have neighbors who make a point to greet us, who look out for each other and give us the family loving vibes we always wanted.  I have everything I’ve ever wanted and more from a soaking tub, to a reading nook, library and piano space.  Our yard has so much potential.  I’ve made our home feel like home and hope to slowly come up with more improvements along the way.

We could ask for nothing more and so we spent a quaint night in ringing in the new year:
